Hibou, Pinot Noir, 2018
ALDER SPRINGS VINEYARD | MENDOCINO, CALIFORNIA
Hibou is the works of the Driscoll Wine Co.- a small family-ran winery producing some of the most intentional, elegant wines we’ve ever enjoyed. Hibou is French for Owl - Owl’s are a staple of Napa Valley, known to be seekers. Just as the owls are watchful, patient creatures - The Driscolls seek out the smallest most personal single-vineyard gems the North Coast can offer. Hibou celebrates the land and the farmer by crafting wines of integrity and sense of place. These grapes were planted by Stu Bewley in 1990’s - just 12 miles from Coast at 2000ft. elevation in Mendocino Mountains.
Medium-Bodied with notes of raspberry, vanilla and dark cherry.
